KID ROCK To Unleash First-Ever Live Album
February 10, 2006KID ROCK has unveiled details of his first-ever live album, dubbed "Live Trucker". The 13-track set, which captures Rock and his TWISTED BROWN TRUCKER band in all their onstage glory, is set to hit stores on February 28. Recorded at various Michigan locations in 2000 and 2004, "Live Trucker" features guest appearances from longtime TWISTED BROWN TRUCKER members Uncle Kracker and the late great Joe C, as well as Gretchen Wilson, who joins Rock on stage for a special rendition of "Picture". In addition, the album includes a previously unreleased cover of the funked-up classic "Outstanding", originally made famous by the legendary GAP BAND.
To celebrate the release of "Live Trucker", KID ROCK and TWISTED BROWN TRUCKER BAND hit the road for an extensive string of dates beginning January 20, recently highlighted by a pair of sold-out hometown Super Bowl weekend shows at Detroit's Joe Louis Arena. When the Friday concert sold out in a Kid Rock personal-best time of just six minutes, the second night was added and sold out nine minutes later.
